Abstract
BACKGROUND: Soil-transmitted helminth (STH) infections are still prevalent among schoolchildren in the Philippines. We evaluated the risk factors associated with STH and the relationship between STH and nutritional indices among schoolchildren aged 9-10 years in Laguna province, the Philippines.Entities:

Anaemia classification was according to WHO guidelines [38]. For children 5–11 years of age: normal (≥115 g/L), mild (110–114 g/L), moderate (80–109 g/L), severe (< 80/L); children 12–14 years of age: normal (≥120 g/L); mild (110–119 g/L), moderate (80–109 g/L), severe (<80 g/L); non-pregnant women (≥15 years of age): normal (≥120 g/L), mild (110–119 g/L), moderate (80–109 g/L), severe (<80g/L); men (≥15 years of age): normal (≥130 g/L), mild (110–129 g/L), moderate (80–109 g/L) and severe (<89 g/L).
