Figure 1cMRI. Routine cranial MRI (cMRI) was performed at 37 weeks of PMA to measure the BPW and IHD. All preterm infants were given intravenous injection of phenobarbital sodium (5 mg/kg) 30 minutes before the cMRI examination and wrapped with a cotton quilt. The examination was performed when the infants were asleep. All cMRI data were acquired and recorded by two radiologists without knowledge of the clinical situation. IHD: interhemispheric distance; BPW: biparietal width.
