Abstract
BACKGROUND: A shift in the proportions of blood immune cells is a hallmark of cancer development. Here, we investigated whether methylation-derived immune cell type ratios and methylation-derived neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratios (mdNLRs) are associated with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).Entities:

Fig. 3Forest plot of the associations of the nine mdNLRs with TNBC and estimated areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves (AUCs) with their corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs). OR is given for a 10% increase in methylation level. P values were adjusted (Padj) for multiple testing using the Holm correction. Horizontal lines indicate 95% CIs. mdNLR, methylation-derived neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio; OR, odds ratio
