FIGURE 2A 50-year-old male patient underwent hybrid surgery at the C4-5 and C5-6 levels. (A) A simple lateral radiograph taken 3 months postoperatively shows the good position of the cage at C4-5 and artificial disc at the C5-6 level. (B) Simple lateral radiograph taken 6 years postoperatively reveals severe anterior osteophyte at the C3-4 level and even at the artificial disc replacement level.
