Assessment of anteroposterior jaw relationship.

Abstract

Both angular and linear measurements have been proposed in the assessment of sagittal jaw relationship. Many distorting factors may influence the validity of evaluating this relationship. This article was undertaken to study the different measurements statistically and geometrically; in addition, the AF-BF distance as the absolute measurement of the anteroposterior jaw relationship is presented.
