All continuous data are presented as median (interquartile range), all categorical data are presented as n (%). PN = parenteral nutrition, KLIK = kwaliteit van leven in kaart (Dutch Acronym for Quality of Life in Clinical Practice), PROM = patient reported outcome measure, ICU = intensive care unit.

All data are presented as median (interquartile range). Values highlighted in bold are considered statistically significantly different from normative data (18,19). IQR = interquartile range; PedsQL = Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory 4.0.
Compared with Mann-Whitney U test to normative data (19).
Calculated by methods described by Kerby (31).
Compared with Mann-Whitney U test to normative data (18).
^Psychosocial function is the combined score of the emotional, social and school subscale.
Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory 4.0 fatigue score of patients suffering from chronic IF receiving home parenteral nutrition, compared with the general population
