A bone resorptive agent extracted from orthodontically-treated tissues of the rat.

G J King, J Collier.

Abstract

A bone resorptive agent extracted from the tissues surrounding orthodontically-treated teeth is purified using ultrafiltration and isoelectric focusing. A two-fold increase in release of 45Ca could be achieved with as little as 0.6 microgram/ml of this material.
