Abstract
Upon cleavage, the Gasdermin D (GSDMD) N-terminal fragment assembles into pores on the plasma membrane to orchestrate the lytic cell death known as pyroptosis. In a recent article, Evavold et al. showed that the Ragulator-Rag-mTORC1-ROS pathway controls the transition from cleavage and membrane localization to oligomerization and pore formation.Entities:
