Abstract
INTRODUCTION: In recent years numerous research studies have indicated that chronic inflammation in psoriasis can be associated with an increased risk of developing atherosclerosis. AIM: The presented study was aimed at demonstrating whether patients suffering from psoriasis vulgaris are at a greater risk of developing atherosclerosis depending on the presence of selected cardiovascular risk factors and the course and severity of the disease.Entities:
