[Experience with a new culture medium for salmonella diagnosis (author's transl)].

A new medium for the cultivation of Salmonella is presented which enables an immediate distinction of Proteus bacteria and Citrobacter. The time needed for diagnosis is reduced, expenditure on staff and material will be reduced. The "positive" salmonella yield from faeces specimens is increased as compared to Leifson agar and SS agar.
