Fig. 1.Percentage of children and adolescents experiencing injury by age. Males had a higher overall incidence of injury experiences than females (10.0%±0.2% vs. 6.1%±0.1%, P<0.001). Children between the ages of 1 and 4 years had the highest incidence of injury experience (9.0%±0.3%, P<0.001).
