Older people with aspiration pneumonia who are hospitalized in acute care hospitals are at risk of developing whole-body sarcopenia, sarcopenic dysphagia, and respiratory sarcopenic disability due to disease-related sarcopenia and iatrogenic sarcopenia. Rehabilitation nutrition can improve whole-body sarcopenia, sarcopenic dysphagia and respiratory sarcopenic disability.
