Abstract
Using gas chromatography, the fatty acid profile has been measured in subcutaneous fat obtained from women undergoing biopsy for benign and malignant breast conditions. There was a similar proportion of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids in both types or fat, suggesting that long-term differences in fatty acid constituents of diet are unrelated to risk of breast cancer.Entities:
