Abstract
Three cases of hematogenous infection of total knee replacement are reported. In two cases septicemia following cholecystectomy resulted in E. coli infection of the knee joint. Prophylactic antibiotic therapy of implant patients undergoing dental or surgical procedures is recommended.Entities:
