Protein and carbohydrate were measured on dry mass basis. All the values were expressed as mean±S.D. (N=3). Mean values in the same column with different letters in superscript are significantly different according to the analysis of variance and Tukey’s HSD post hoc test (p<0.05). Rutin and quercetin were used as positive controls in the antioxidant assay.
