Abstract
INTRODUCTION: There are scanty reports of the risk factors for pulmonary hypertensive crisis and low cardiac output syndrome after the operative repair of total anomalous pulmonary venous connection (TAPVC). We aim to evaluate early surgical outcomes of TAPVC and risk factors for pulmonary hypertensive crisis and low cardiac output syndrome.Entities:

AThe first 4 weeks after birth; BThe identification of patients with pneumonia was based on clinical and radiographic evidence (chest X-ray and elevated white blood cell); CDue to the difficulty in distinguishing between pulmonary congestion and pneumonia in clinical signs and symptoms, the subclinical based distinction was no common sign of infection known as an elevated white blood cell (WBC) count in the cases with pulmonary congestion; Dthe location and level of PVO was identified with the Doppler echocardiography which showed “Aliasing phenomenon” and flow velocity of above 1.6 m/sec. Significance level at p < 0.05 was given in bold.
