•This case reports an isolated subcutaneous recurrence of neuroendocrine carcinoma of the cervix.•Multiple recurrences of NECC were treated surgically without additional systemic therapy.•There is a need for further studies to evaluate optimal treatment regimens for NECC.Entities:
