Abstract
Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) is a rare cause of stroke that accounts for 0.5-1.0% of all strokes. Clinical presentation, predisposing factors, neuroimaging findings, and outcomes of CVST are extremely diverse, which causes a high index of suspicion in diagnosis. Therefore, early diagnosis of CVST is crucial for prompt treatment to prevent morbidity and mortality.Entities:

Figure 1Imaging details of the complications presented in CVST patients: (a) sagittal contrast enhanced MRV showing filing defect in right transverse and sigmoid sinus; (b) CT scan brain plain showing delta sign suggestive of superior sagittal sinus thrombosis; (c) CT scan brain plain showing mixed density lesion not following vascular territory suggestive of transverse sinus thrombosis; (d) non-enhanced CT showing hyper-dense transverse sinus.
