Abstract
Numerous regulatory bodies around the world require analgesics for rodents undergoing surgery to induce sepsis. Well-controlled pain will decrease morbidity. Options for analgesics include NSAIDs, local analgesics, and opioids. Supportive care can also decrease stress to post-operative animals. As well, humane endpoints should be agreed upon before the study commences so as to alleviate unnecessary pain and distress.Entities:
