Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Both conservative and liberal transfusion thresholds, in regard to hematocrit and hemoglobin levels, have been widely studied with varying outcomes. ASA status and demographics of the patients in the study. A total of 841 patient’s charts were included in the study. Patients that were admitted for a second hip fracture, only the first admission was included in the study.
