Abstract
BACKGROUND: Hypertensive patients can freely choose informal medical facilities, such as pharmacies, community health service centres, and cardiology clinics in secondary or tertiary hospitals, as routine places for medical treatment in China currently. The proportions, influencing factors and effects of different health-seeking behaviours on blood pressure (BP) among hypertensive patients in urban communities are not clear. The aim of the study was to investigate health-seeking behaviours and the effects of different health-seeking behaviours on BP among hypertensive patients in urban communities in China.Entities:
