Fixation of osteochondral fragments in the knee joint. A clinical survey.

Abstract

In 20 patients with osteochondral joint fragments (chiefly osteochondritis dissecans), followed for an average of five years, excellent or good results were obtained in 15 treated by transfixation with autologous cortical bone pegs.
