Abstract
OBJECTIVE: It has been found that both serum homocysteine (Hcy) and serum creatinine levels were increased in hypothyroidism patients. The dependent variable was serum Hcy; the independent variables were eGFR, age, sex and BMI. Hcy and eGFR were log10 transformed before included in the linear regression model, because of their skewed distribution.
eGFR, estimated glomerular filtration rate; Hcy, homocysteine.
