Gastrointestinal complications: mechanical and paralytical ileus and insufficient ileal anastomosis.
+Infectious complications: any infections that require antibiotic treatment more than the standard antibiotic regimen (e.g., pneumonia, wound infection).
Cardiovascular complications: lung embolism, thrombosis, stroke, cardiac arrythmia, and cardiac infarction.
±Genitourinary complications: urinoma.
