Composite of preexisting CKD and/or nonrecovery of AKI as no previous creatinine results available. Defined as eGFR <60 ml/min and uACR >3.0 mg/mmol at 28 days follow-up. The 3 CKD diagnoses included 40-, 48-, and 65-year-old men. Two had KDIGO stage 3 AKI requiring renal replacement therapy during admission.
