Abstract
AIMS: Cryoballoon pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) is a safe and effective treatment for atrial fibrillation (AF). Current limitations include incomplete vein occlusion due to balloon rigidity and inconsistent electrogram recording, which impairs identification of isolation.
