Abstract
OBJECTIVE: Unhealthy lifestyle is common among patients with ischemic stroke or TIA. Hence, health-related behavior change may be an effective way to reduce stroke recurrence. However, this is often difficult to carry out successfully. We aimed to explore patients' perspectives on health-related behavior change, support in this change, and sustain healthy behavior.Entities:

Quantification of stroke severity according to the National Institutes of Health stroke scale, a 15‐item scale with scores that range from 0 to 42 and higher values indicating greater severity.
Quantification of the degree of disability or dependence in the daily activities of people who have suffered a stroke. Scores on the mRS range from 0 (no symptoms at all) to 5 (severe disability).
