Abstract
HYPOTHESIS: The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of clinically significant postoperative stiffness after arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and its resolution. The study also sought to determine clinical and surgical factors that may be associated with increased rates of postoperative stiffness.Entities:

Stiffness was defined as passive forward flexion ≤ 120° or as passive external rotation ≤ 20° with the arm at the side. The sample exclusion criteria were as follows: revision rotator cuff repair, history of labral repair, non-adherence to the postoperative protocol, and stiffness recurrence without resolution at final follow-up.
