Abstract
Fifty-six percent of high-needs NYC cancer patients are food insecure, at times choosing between medical treatment and food. We describe FOOD (Food to Overcome Outcome Disparities), an innovative intervention, which has established eleven medically tailored food pantries in NYC cancer centers and distributed the equivalent of 307,080 meals since 2011.Entities:
