Abstract
Regulation of transcription during development has been analysed in vitro using extracts derived from Drosophila embryos. Transcription of mutant templates reveals cis-control regions of the alcohol dehydrogenase promoter responsible for temporal regulation. The activity of a trans-acting protein correlates with the profile of alcohol dehydrogenase expression during embryogenesis.Entities:
