Meaningful interpretation of GWAS signals is rapidly advancing as available genomic tools become more sophisticated and the disease cellular models more relevant. Combining different approaches and closer cross-disciplinary collaborations strongly position the community to deliver significant advancement in biological, clinical and therapeutic insights from GWAS variants in the next decade.
