Abstract
PURPOSE: To estimate the frequency of epiretinal membrane (ERM) in eyes with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) treated with Ex-Press shunt implant. Secondarily, we aimed to assess the role of concomitant cataract surgery and the impact of the ERM on central foveal thickness and macular volume.Entities:

Fig. 1Spectral-domain optical coherence tomography of a patient with cellophane macular reflex. A hyperreflective layer (red arrowhead) is identifiable at the vitreomacular interface without foveal depression loss or alteration of the extrafoveal architecture
Fig. 2Spectral-domain optical coherence tomography of a patient with pre-macular fibrosis. A well-demarcated hyperreflective layer (red arrowhead) is identifiable at the vitreomacular interface, with foveal depression loss, increased central foveal thickness
