Abstract

The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is currently a major concern worldwide. Guidelines have been issued regarding precautions for healthcare workers taking care of SARS-CoV-2 infected patients. In spite of accurate observance of infection control measures, including contact precautions, we report an OXA-23-producing Acinetobacter baumannii outbreak in the 5 Intensive Care Units of 10 beds each in our tertiary care teaching hospital.
