Abstract
In 29 patients the accuracy of computed tomography (CT) and endosonography were compared for preoperative staging of rectal cancer. CT and endosonography were both reasonably accurate, CT overstaged 6 and understaged one lesion. Endosonography overstaged only 2 cancers. The accuracy of lymph node staging is still not resolved.Entities:
