Abstract
OBJECTIVES: Previous studies in adults with epilepsy revealed a higher prevalence of metabolic syndrome, resulting in cerebrovascular and cardiovascular events. However, there is insufficient data about body composition and metabolic syndrome in children, especially in the Middle Eastern region.
