Abstract
The discovery of novel antibiotics is essential to combat the rise of antimicrobial resistance. While a number of initiatives are focused on advancing promising leads into the clinic, there is a dearth of effort at stimulating the early stage discovery. We present one pathway that has successfully demonstrated an ability to revitalize fundamental research and reengage researchers.Mesh:
