Background: Despite the benefits of physical activity on cardiovascular risk in kidney transplant recipients (KTRs), the long-term effects of exercise have been poorly investigated. Baseline characteristics of the two groups. Continuous variables are presented as mean ± standard deviation, categorical variables as absolute numbers. Comparison between active and sedentary groups were performed using Student’s t-test or Chi-squared test. A p value < 0.05 was considered as statistically significant.
