Abstract
BACKGROUND: Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is a rare mesenchymal malignancy. Although surgery is potentially curative, the local relapse risk is high after marginal resections. Given the lack of prospective clinical trial data, the objective of the current study was to better define the role of perioperative radiotherapy (RT) in various SFT presentations by location.Entities:

The Demicco score concerns all patients within the respective subgroups by site; if death occurred within 1 month after diagnosis or insufficient data were available, some patients were not taken into account for calculating the Kaplan‐Meier curves provided in Supporting Figures 1, 2, and 3 (note differences in the number of patients at risk with respect to this table).
