Abstract
AIM: Correct measurement of blood pressure (BP) is important for optimal diagnosis and treatment of patients with hypertension. The aim of this study was to compare a wrist-worn device using tonometric measurements of BP to a conventional device using oscillometric measurements of 24 h BP, diagnosing of hypertension, and non-dipping.Entities:

Abbreviations: SBP, systolic blood pressure; DBP, diastolic blood pressure; SD, standard deviation.
Figure 1Bland–Altman plot presenting the difference in blood pressure (mmHg) between tonometric and oscillometric 24 h systolic measurements. The solid black line represents the mean difference and the dotted lines represent mean difference ± 2SD.
Figure 2Bland–Altman plot presenting the difference in relative nocturnal systolic blood pressure (%) between tonometric and oscillometric measurements. The solid black line represents the mean difference and the dotted lines represent mean difference ± 2SD.
