BACKGROUND: To evaluate the relationship between atherosclerosis and Alzheimer's disease (AD), we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to study the difference of carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT) and the prevalence of atherosclerosis between AD patients and non-AD controls.Entities:
