Abstract
BACKGROUND: Group deliberation can be a pathway to understanding reasons behind judgement decisions. This pilot study implemented a deliberative process to elicit public values about health-related quality of life. In this study, participants deliberated scales and weights for a German adaption of the Short-Form Six-Dimension (SF-6D) Version 2 from a public perspective.Entities:

Level 1 is the best level for all dimensions. For physical functioning, role limitation, social functioning, mental health and vitality, level 5 is the worst level. In the dimension pain, level 6 is the worst level. The scale for the dimension pain and the weighting results were not consented by the plenary assembly.
