Abstract
A new highly fluorescent probe based on a boron-dipyrromethene functionalized with a phenylboronic acid group was synthesized from 2,4-dimethylpyrrol and 4-formylphenylboronic acid. Spectral changes in both absorption and emission spectra were observed in the presence of sugars.Entities:
