Abstract
BACKGROUND: Radical radiotherapy is the standard treatment for patients with locally advanced cervix uteri carcinoma (FIGO stage IB2-IVA). Worldwide, incidence and mortality rates vary among regions because of differences in lifestyles and treatment standards.
