Abstract
Healthcare givers were recommended to check serum ammonia level for elderly patients with acute-on-chronic alteration of mental status. Early initiation of antihyperammonemia therapy may benefit improvement of alteration of mental status. Baseline mental status becomes necessary for diagnose the acute alteration of mental status and monitor the therapeutic process.Entities:
