Abstract
Subacute Necrotising Sialadenitis (SANS) is a self-limiting, inflammatory disorder of minor salivary glands of unknown etiology. Minor salivary glands over soft and hard palate are most commonly affected. SANS shares considerable clinical features with necrotizing sialometaplasia, which is also the commonest differential diagnosis.
