The Arabic-speaking immigrant group, which makes up the fourth largest language group in Australia, has a high prevalence of cardiovascular disease. Eligible patients were 18 years of age or older. Eligible patients were born in an overseas country that speaks Arabic, and their first language is Arabic. Eligible patients must have been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease at least six months ago. |

Eligible patients were self-identified as English-speaking, which is defined as someone whose first language is English, born in North America, Australia, the United Kingdom, or New Zealand. Eligible patients must have been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease, at least six months ago. |
