Differences in mean change from baseline and 95% CI are calculated using two‐sample t tests and assuming equal variances in both treatment groups.
ACQ‐7, Asthma Control Questionnaire, 7‐item; CI, confidence interval; FeNO, fractional exhaled nitric oxide; FEV1, forced expiratory volume in one second.
All outcomes were assessed at end of treatment on Day 28, except for blood eosinophils, which was assessed on Day 30, unless otherwise noted.
Figure 1Mean reduction in fractional exhaled nitric oxide levels at Day 28 compared to baseline in all subjects (N = 36) and low FeNO (n = 22) and high FeNO (n = 14) subgroups. Bars represent mean ± standard error. Grey bars = placebo; black bars = GB001‐treated subjects. Abbreviations: FeNO, fractional exhaled nitric oxide; ppb, parts per billion
Figure 2Effect of treatment with GB001 (black line) or placebo (grey line) on eosinophil shape change up to 48 hours post‐dose on Day 28. Bars represent mean ± standard deviation. Grey line = placebo; black line = GB001
