Abstract
BACKGROUND: Acute cerebrovascular disease (ACVD) could cause abnormal metabolism of thyroid hormones (TH), mostly represented as a euthyroid sick syndrome or low T3 syndrome. However, the changes in serum thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) are controversial. The aim of this study is to investigate the clinical significance of TSH alteration in patients with ACVD.Entities:
