‡Comorbidity is defined as the presence of both hypertension and DM.

Null Hypothesis (H0): There is no difference in prevalence of hypertension/DM/comorbidity within groups; Alternative Hypothesis (HA): There is difference in prevalence of hypertension/DM/comorbidity within groups. Chi-square test was applied to assess the proportional significant differences within groups; p value<0.05 was considered as level of significance.
