Abstract
Bronchopleural fistula with subsequent hydropneumothorax is an important complication of necrotizing pneumonia. Chest X-ray is an excellent diagnostic tool which can suggest hydropneumothorax. When present, this requires admission for drainage. If discharged after necrotizing pneumonia, follow-up should include a chest X-ray to rule out this complication.Entities:
